Visionect Signs

Visionect signs are enclosed electronic paper devices available in a robust plastic casing. They include the 9.7” and 6” second generation Visionect sign.

Connect the device to the PC by using the enclosed Micro USB cable. All Visionect signs feature only one port, used both to charge and configure the device. All have a built-in serial-USB converter (FTDI-based).

Visionect System Boards, Modules and Development kits - with the exception of those in size 32” - cannot be configured with anything else but this cable, as regular Micro USB cables will not work.

Warning

Please make sure that you connect the System Board to a power supply, either by connecting the battery of your development kit or by adding an external power supply. The USB port of your computer will not provide enough power for the device to be configured.
